"Diabetes and a way back to life."

About: King's Mill Hospital / Diabetic medicine

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with Diabetes last year, type 2, and through having someone strong enough to instil a need for 'Longevity' in my mind: I am now conquering the symptoms.

It wasn't family or friends but a young lady who works at King's Mill Hospital as a 'Specialist Dietician' (Specialist may be slightly understated) who helped me understand. To have at least one person in the world that believes you are able to help yourself overcome the affliction is absolutely necessary for people of my nature and this is proven as my symptoms are non existent, we may not conquer the affliction but we definitely can end the symptoms through a little exercise and a change in diet.

Thank you Hayley Spencer 'Specialist Dietician with Kings Mill'.

I attach 2 photographs to show I have altered from being a fat old man with the weight of the world on my shoulders to a man of 'Ideal weight' that doesn't need the toilet any more than normal, doesn't have cholesterol or blood pressure problems and is a damn sight happier.
