I attended Heatherwood hospital on the 20th may for a pre op check and was told that due to personal circumstances I could no longer have the op at Heatherwood, it would have to be Wexham Park. My operation was supposed to be Urgent and on the 21st may. I went home and did some research and made the decision that based on the most recent CQC report, that I did not wish to be treated at Wexham Park. I contacted my GP who was understanding but advised me I would have to advise the consultant that I wish to be transferred to Frimley. I called the waiting list receptionist at Heatherwood and explained this to them. They were their usual rude and condescending self and they told me that I had been scheduled for 24th June at Wexham and that they couldn't change that. I told them that under no circumstances was I being treated in that hospital. They said they would speak to the consultant and get back to me. Today, 2 weeks later, I called them and said I hadn't heard anything to which they responded by telling me that I was booked into Wexham for the 24th I reminded them of our previous conversation and they told me I had to speak to the waiting list person at Wexham. So I did, I had the exact same conversation with them, which ended in them telling me I have to be treated at Wexham park. When I made it very clear that was never going to happen they told me to speak to my GP, but they have already told me that you guys have to deal with this. They left me with 'they'll look into it' I am not holding my breath.
