"thank you (peadiatric nurse practitioner)"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

After visiting A&E on numerous occasions over the last few months, myself and other family members would like to thank the nurse practitioner and all the other staff who where involved in my grand daughters care. It was a great pleasure to see someone so passionate, caring and understanding within the care that was provided. It was very good to see somebody who gives such a calming influence whilst others around (family members) were quite panic stricken.

Response from Royal Blackburn Hospital

Dear Bagley Family Many thanks for your feedback on your experience of our A&E service, and thank-you for taking the time to do so. I will make sure your appreciation is passed onto the team and it would be lovely to be able to pass on your thanks directly to the nurse practitioner involved in your grand-daughter's care; if you can remember any more details could I encourage you to contact me? The details are below. I am very pleased to hear that your recent experience with us was really positive as we always strive to deliver safe, personal & effective care. If you would like to talk through your visit to us with one of our Patient Experience team so we can understand the bits of your experience that made this such a good visit for you and your family we would really value this so that we can try to make it like this for every patient visiting our hospitals and services. You can either contact me (Wendy Stobbs) on 01254 733716 or email me on wendy.stobbs@elht.nhs.uk. Or if you would like to share your experience in confidence with an independent organisation please contact Healthwatch BwD on 01254 504985 or info@healthwatchblackburnwithdarwen.co.uk Many thanks again for commenting and best wishes to your grand-daughter on her continued recovery Wendy Stobbs, Senior Patient Experience Facilitator
