"minor injuries unit"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

I fractured my wrist in the Lake District on 26th May & was taken by ambulance to Lancaster A & E. I was seen quickly & efficiently and was kept informed about what was happening. Everyone including the nurses and radiographer were polite and kind. I was on my own with no where to stay so the nurses found a hotel for me and organised a taxi to get me there. I cannot thank them enough and am very grateful for all that they did. In the best possible way I hope that I will not need the services of the unit again but it is very reassuring to know that they are there!
