"Careless and Time consuming"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Nurses are busy using their Mobile phones (Not the Hospital ones) their personal mobile phones. No concern for the patient if they are in acute pain. Waiting time crosses the limit of 2-3 hours in immense pain. Kept the patient just under observation when he should have been really take care of and looked after. Given discharge even though the patient was in little pain and had symptoms of something major. *We know that these services are free of cost but indirectly we are eventually paining for it. This is one of the areas where a serious attention is required. People come bleeding heavily still the wait is the same. I am very very unsatisfied with the visit.

Dear Jay, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we are disappointed to read it wasn't all positive for you and your friend/relative. We have shared this feedback with the A&E Matrons, Service Managers and Clinical Leads, however it would be difficult for them to investigate your concerns further without more detail (such as date of visit, patient's name etc). If you would like to raise a formal concern, please use our online form to contact our Patient Information and Liaison Serrvice (PILS) team, who will liaisie with the service and look into this for you https://www.leicestershospitals.nhs.uk/patients/patient-welfare/patient-information-and-liaison-service/contact-form/ Kind regards Communications Team Leicester's Hospitals
