"Good out of hours consultation for mother in law"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Ambulatory Care

(as a relative),

Phoned NHS 24. Given spot at local out of hours service at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

15 min wait. Saw lovely registrar, Mark Haddon. Introduced himself, shook hands with my mother in law (patient) and myself (daughter). Took time to explain, great body language, eye contact and empathy and faced my mother whole time instead of being focussed on a computer screen.

Great explanation and asked if any questions at end. Made me feel like my mother in law was the complete focus of consultation.

Horrid recent dealings with another doctor at Forth Valley so restored faith. Thank you Dr Mark Haddon.
