I accompanied my father to his second visit to Medway hospital where he was referred after a fall and injury to his nose. On his first visited he was accompanied by my sister who advised me that he was treated with care, dignity and respect. As my father has multiple medical conditions my sister advised that Medway hospital staff checked him very thoroughly following his fall and put my dads and our families minds at rest. When we arrived today at McCullough ward (ENT day care) we were greeted by a very friendly nurse, who, as we were not aware of our surroundings helped us to find the correct area to wait. When my dad was called for his appointment the nurse was very accommodating in allowing me to attend the appointment with my dad even though I had a baby with a pushchair. My dad was seen by a doctor who was also very friendly and made us feel at ease. This doctor was happy to listen to our concerns and also answer any queries we had. They explained everything they did and thoroughly checked my dad. We did not feel rushed and felt that they really took time to listen to our concerns. We felt we were fully informed when we left the room. I would most definitely return to this hospital as the care my dad received today and last week was outstanding.
