About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary

My Dad was on Ward 23 for a few weeks March to April, following a fall and subsequent injury. Throughout his hospital stay the staff provided a friendly, positive environment for him, all working towards his recovery. Admin, cleaning, catering, maintenance staff all seemed to work well and take pride in their day to day work at the RVI alongside the nursing and medical staff. The sisters, physios, OT's and the discharge sister were excellent in trying to get a blend of independence and safety for my Dad. It is so reassuring to know that you have this great facility in Newcastle. We were kept well informed and truly appreciate all that was provided.
