"Paramedics, A&E and Ward 11"

My Nana was attended to at Woodlands View Nursing home on Thursday 30/4 by Paramedics, they were fantastic, despite being confused and very poorly, they constantly explained what they were doing to her, giving her the best care and preserving her dignity. After being rushed on blue lights with sirens to Lister, the A&E staff were also exemplary. Unfortunately I didn't catch all the names as was more concerned about my Nan. My Nan was attended to all night, from the minute Paramedics arrived on the 30th to my leaving her around lunchtime 1/5, she was barely out of sight of at least one member of staff. As I said, I don't remember all the names but they were amazing, constantly updating us and calling for the Doctor - who was also fantastic but I'm sorry I don't remember his name. All of the staff ensured, despite the fact my Nan was unconscious that they told her exactly what they were doing. The Paramedic called in a couple of times throughout the night to see how my Nan was doing. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, they even made me tea throughout the night as I didn't want to leave Nans side. With the fantastic care and nursing my Nan received, despite everything, Nan was able to be moved to Ward 11, high dependency area. The staff there also mirror those encountered everywhere else in Lister. All of the staff are fully dedicated to their patients and show them respect at all times whether conscious or not. All of the staff at Lister need commending for the care they deliver, we will be forever grateful.
