I arrived at the hospital with a sprained/ broken left wrist. It was very busy and I was warned the wait may be 2/3 hours. However within 1/2 an hour I was called for consultation with a nurse and within a 1/4 of an hour later given an X-ray. Then followed a longer wait to see the doctor but at all times I was kept informed what was going on and what the results of my X-Rays were. There were a lot of very young children there whose treatment was, quite rightly, a priority over mine. The staff were kind, caring and efficient and when I saw the doctor they reassured me that it was just a sprain. I would advise taking a book or a newspaper because you do have to wait but the hospital provides an excellent service for which I am very grateful
