What I liked

I visited radiology department to have an ultrasound and coritsone injection in my hip/ buttock region. I was so impressed by the whole service I felt compelled to comment, because so many people are quick to criticize the NHS. It was easy to park, easy to find the department, the receptionist was friendly, I had to wait no longer than 10 minutes. The nurse that came to collect me was warm and friendly and explained what was going to happen clearly. The doctor put me at ease, patiently discussed my condition - which I'd been dealing with frustratingly for a year - and explained clearly what he was doing and why. They were patient when I was in pain and we had a laugh in what could have been an anxious and horrible situation. I feel very lucky to have had such a good experience. Thank you.
