"Day case surgery"

About: Poole General Hospital

I have just had a minor op under general anaesthetic in the Day Case Ward. I heard from PGH very soon after my GP referred me, had an appointment with my specialist within a month and booked in for my surgery this morning after a short wait. Everyone l met was professional, kind and friendly and explained at every opportunty what to expect. My husband dropped me off at the hospital at 7.15am and picked me up at 12noon. I can't thank or praise the staff highly enough. Thank you all so much.
