I was admitted to A&E with severe cramping in my ab and stomach area, I was given morphine the A&E doc that gave me it never washed his hands. I was then moved to AMU where I fell asleep was then woken at 3am by 2 doctors that were hassling me about why I had been admitted and what was wrong with me. I was still under the full effects of the morphine.
1 of the docs said he was not leaving until I had told him everything. I couldn't get my words out and felt I was being bullied there was nothing I could do! ! I got moved to a ward where I was told my doctor would be round to see me. Again woken up at 7. 30am by doctor and the doc from 3am, felt I had to confront the doc from 3am about how he bullied me then out of know where my new doctor started shouting at me tried to defend myself the more I tried the weaker I became.
I told doctor they gave me morphine he shouted they shouldn't of given you that as if it was my fault then he said shouting again you shouldn't be in here there's more important people he has to deal with and I'm taking up bed space.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing since that happened my Crohn's disease has moved to my large bowel and stomach. I spoke to pals as told they would resolve and offer me help but seems as though the lady at pals didn't want to help me. I've lost all faith now and am really angry in how I've been treated.
I have a new doctor at the same hospital and can't fault him he has done more for me in 2 months than old doctor did in 1ish year I was with him.
