What I liked
Had triple heart by-pass operation. Care was exceptional both in the intersive care unit and in the subsequent coronary care ward.
Very effeciently run organisation.
It also shows that just because overseas nursing staff are employed (in significant numbers), nursing care need not be compromised as a result - unlike at Portsmouth QA hospital!
What could be improved
Should be possible to make contact with a member of the operation team even if not living in Southampton, rather than being palmed off to ones own hospital. They do not necessarily have all the relevant and up to date info necessary to answer important questions.
