What I liked
The pre-op assesment unit nurses were amazingly friendly and easy to talk to. There were some potential complications with my operation, and they arranged for me to have all the appropriate additional tests within 7 days after my inital pre-op appointment.
On the day of the operation I got to speak to everyone involved in my care, not just the student nurse responsible for me, but also to the two anaesthetist on duty that day and the consultant.
This was particulary impressive as they were fairly understaffed the day I attended.
What could be improved
Nothing.
Anything else?
After having waited approximately five years for a firm diagnosis, I was delighted to have the operation conducted by such a friendly, professional & caring team within 4 months.
