After the doctors refusing to give me antibiotics for a sinus infection i turned up at the minor injuries unit feeling really unwell on the saturday evening and in a lot of pain and as it was the easter bank holiday weekend i was feeling so poorly i did'nt know what else to do. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist and sat and waited to be seen. I was seen by the nurse who was lovely and after the nurse had done a quick examination, they gave me some antibiotics which i started that night. What a relief as by the monday i was feeling a whole lot better after having had a sore throat for 10 days as well. I would just like to say thank you so much to the minor injuries unit as also 6months ago they also gave my son antibiotics which helped considerably when he had tonsillitis and the doctors were closed. Thank you to every one your doing a great job!
