"Urgent admission due to breathing difficulties"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

I was admitted to the ward after a visit to my GP. My care was of the highest order. The staff were without exception friendly and knowledgeable. The ward was cleaned within an inch of its life several times a day. The only downside was the catering, I am aware of the difficulties of mass catering but did find standards left something to be desired on occasion. The clinical care was faultless and explained at every step. Unfortunately I require oxygen at home and this was arranged to suit my relatives and was fully functioning on my return. A hospital stay is not a pleasant experience but overall I think this is as good as it gets.
