I visited today in lots of pain. Unfortunately the students were off for Easter - so it was real emergency appointments only. The dentist dealt with the waiting public very well, through a triage like process. A few unhappy people were turned away but they explained well the reasons why. I was lucky and they agreed to see me. Well what can I say - excellent service and also from the X-ray department. It was extremely busy due to half term and lots of children being seen but I waiting no longer than 10 minutes for my X-ray. I needed an extraction or root canal treatment and was really scared. Both options were fully discussed and I wasn't rushed into a decision. I opted for an extraction which was dealt with by another dentist today. Yes I waited a very long time but I was just happy to be given the opportunity to be treated. I'm now at home writing this - still in discomfort (no where near what I had earlier and to be expected) but really pleased with the service I received today in difficult circumstances. And I wasn't the easiest of patients either - bit of a dental phobia but I would whole heartedly recommend this hospital. Bear in mind student holidays and how much pressure they are under and you can't ask for more. Thank you for helping me x
