"left and right"

About: Good Hope Hospital

My dad was taken by ambulance today at around 5pm. At 2.45 am I've just arrived home. I rang at 9.00 pm to see what was happening with him, as my mom would need a lift home and was told he was staying in, so I went along to pick mom up, and was told he wasn't staying in. Ok fair enough. Doctor came very and said more tests were needed, a bed was ready so we hung on and on and on. Doctor disappears, at 2.00 am we were told he can go home!!! Ok so no moaning, I go and ask the nurse for a wheelchair as he couldn't walk to the car, her response was "you can use that one over there, she doesn't need it now" when I looked it was in a cubicle with someone in there. I said "I'm not going in there, it's rude, someone's in there" they said it was ok..... I don't think so, eventually they went to fetch it. The letter the doctor was writing hadn't been written to give mom for community matron next week. A complete shambles, left hand not knowing what the right hand is up to
