"Do not use this hospital if you are an nhs patient..."

I was given the option of choosing an appointment at my local NHS hospital or here by my GP so I thought I would give it a try as I was curious what money buys. Big mistake, in order to ensure you don't get a better service than you would get at your local NHS hospital they make the waiting times longer, my local hospital is 7 week here they tell me I have to wait 10-12!! At your local NHS hospital you have a choice of going on a cancellation list if you wish to try to have your surgery sooner, here they cant give that option because actually they could do it tomorrow as they have the surgery space but instead they choose to withhold care.... your local NHS hospital may be a bit worn around the edges but they at least give you care in the quickest time they can.
