"Fabulous!"

About: Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead)

After going to A&E in South West London a week ago after being hit in the face with a hockey stick during a game they put stitches up. I went back to GP to get stitches removed and complained about jaw pain. The GP was shocked that originally i was not Xrayed in A&E. At 6pm yesterday my GP rang and got me an appointment at Maxillofacial trauma uni for 10.30am the next day. I was in and out of Queen Victoria Hospital within an hour! This included having X Rays, seeing a dentist and doctor! There was a bit of delay when i arrived as trauma doctor had been called to trauma incident. The receptionist constantly kept us up to date on waiting time and was so friendly! The waiting room was pleasant and the doctors were so friendly and polite. Cannot fault this hospital and if i ever have an emergency i would make the trip here!

Dear Anonymous

Thank you for your comment about the treatment you recently received.

I was so pleased to read that you had such a positive experience when you were seen in the Maxillofacial Trauma clinic at Queen Victoria Hospital. We work hard with all the staff to ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner and if there are going to be delays that this is fully communicated.

I wish you all the best with your recovery and that your injury hasn't put you off playing hockey!

Kind regards,
