I was visiting relatives in Constantine and dislocated my right replacement hip, whilst on the toilet! The ambulance crews were speedy, caring concerned and efficient, in fact angels in disguise.
A&E staff were equally caring and efficient with real concern. They kept me well informed, which I really appreciated.
I was later admitted to Tolgus UVG ward, aware of the acute bed shortage well handled and managed, sharing with me progress all the time. I was treated with great courtesy and respect by all levels of staff, especially nurse Emma, efficient, caring and charming. Elizabeth the OT went well beyond the call of duty to ensure I was equipped and safe.
I was very impressed all round at the commitment and working together of all levels of staff, what a pity the world does not hear and see such quality of service.
Sincere thanks, almost worth dislocating my hip to have such a positive experience, well done to all including those who have worked hard to create such a positive atmosphere.
"Impressed by kindness and teamwork"
