The rainbow ward was okay. My daughter had her adenoids out so we were there for a day. My daughter has Aspergers so I was a bit worried how she was going to react to tis first experience at being in Hospital . Was a bit shocked to be be told that Aspergers had nothing to do with Autism when we were booked in , so we sat there in the playroom until about ten. We got to our bed around tenish. After her op she was screaming an d crying ,so I tried to calm her down. The nurse just told me that that I needed to calm her down otherwise her nose will start bleeding and she will have to go back down to recovery. I was getting upset by then ,as I had no idea what to do . Finally I just grabbed a book and started reading and she stooped screaming . She was discharged on the same day ,to be honest I was glad to get out of there.
