I would like to highlight my poor experience being treated by a cardiology doctor from Aberdeen. I have a heart problem and wanted private care therefore went to google for a heart doctor (cardiology doctor). I found this Dr's website full of praises which I now presume they have written themself. When I was admitted for an angiogram, I was spoken to in a rude manner as though I'm an idiot who knows nothing.
This doctor was condescending and patronising not only to me as a patient, but it was evident through their communication with nurses and doctors on the ward too. A nurse was sent away in tears.
I found the procedure took an extremely long time, which prolonged my pain and anxiety during the operation unnecessarily.
I ran out of funds for the next course of treatment and this doctor completely lost interest in my care when I was seen on the NHS. While I was under this doctor's care in the NHS, they rarely came to see me and most of my care was done by juniors (who I understand this doctor treats poorly). This doctor is a definite no-go and I would advice anyone requiring heart treatment to look for many other doctors whom you can find on google.
