"Care and compassion at Good Hope Hospital"

I would like to thank all the staff at Good Hope Hospital for their care and professionalism on the occasion of my 5 day stay in ward 15.

Right from the 5 medics meeting me in resus on my arrival by a very efficient 999 ambulance, the surgeons, Mr Sonsale and his team, that operated at nearly midnight on an open double fractured ankle and the professionalism, care and compassion of all the staff, both nursing and ancillary staff on ward 15.

I found the food hot, good and plentiful with a good varied choice of menu.

On my discharge, then to the fracture clinic, the clerical staff, plaster room staff, doctors and nurses were all very good, friendly and efficient.

We only seem to hear bad news of our NHS, nobody wants to hear good news, well I hope people read this good news and the staff of Good Hope throw their chests out.
