A service user from a local care home was admitted to Ward A2 just over a week ago, she had a physical disability & on top of that had a stroke. She was only in hospital for 3 days. I think that as a nation we are quick to complain so should just be as quick to compliment. The staff support on that ward was excellent. They showed compassion & afforded dignity to someone that we had cared for for 30 years. They looked after staff members whilst they were at her bedside & listened to what her preferences were would she be able to talk. I would like to thank them for this & I hope that positive comments are shared as quickly as negative ones are. Thank you to the excellent team that were on especially on the night shift on the 6th February
