"Waiting time"

About: Halton Hospital

My Husband attended this Hospital last Friday. He was having a ala nasi procedure. His appointment was 3pm. He wasn't taken to theatre until 7.45 pm, by which time we were absolutely done in. I had to go out in the dark without any other car in the car park and feed the meter another £ 3 . The cafe closed at 12.30 pm and it was 7 pm when one of the nurses made me a cup of tea. We have no complaint at all about any of the surgical team, and the doctor was lovely with my husband. I suggest in future when you send out letters for a 3 pm appointment you tell them to bring a flask and sandwiches. Thank you.

Sorry to hear your husband had a long wait for his procedure. We'll have a look and see what happened to that appointment on Friday. Sometimes surgery does run over and create a knock on effect for other patients, but you should have been told about that if that was the case. Sorry again and well see what we can do to avoid that in the future.
