I had a stroke and was taken to Newall ward at the Nottingham City Hospital. I had good nursing on firstly the stroke unit at Leicester General, as I had my stroke in Leicestershire. I was then transferred to the City Hospital three weeks later when they had a bed. The nursing on the stroke unit at City was good although at times they seemed a little short of staff. They were friendly and helpful there and good physiotherapy almost daily was given to me. I came home in the beginning of May and continue with wonderful home care and am still receiving it.
