In February 2013 around about the 13th, it was a Friday afternoon coming home from work I fell off my bike, the mudguard jammed the front wheel and I went over the handlebars, my face hit the tarmac hard.
Two council workers stopped got out their fist aid kit and called an ambulance, the quick response person arrived first and then the big ambulance, I was taken into A&E at Crosshouse Hospital and dealt with very kindly and efficiently. The treatment I received could not have been better. Sorry for being so late with this.
In late Jan 2015 I attended day surgery at Crosshouse Hospital for a recurring hernia operation under the care of Miss C Sharp, from the reception staff onwards the care and attention I received could not have been better. I know surgeons are very busy but Miss Sharp made the time to see me twice. All the nurses and anaesthetics were kind, efficient and humorous.
There are enough negative things written about the NHS so I thought I would put my thoughts in writing which are all positive. I hope this reaches the right people.
