"Senior Nurse Smelt of Cigarette Smoke"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

I recently visited a relative at Macclesfield Hospital, I was appalled to see the two nursing sisters from the ward both sat in a car next to the public car park smoking in full view of all visitors. When they arrived later on the ward the smell of stale cigarette smoke when one of the nurses dealt with my relative was so over powering and was very unpleasant for an ill person to deal with. Nurses are suppose to act as role models for health, sisters even more something that is obviously missing with these two nurses.
