my 2 year old has had 15+ ear infections in his life,i have been to ENT twice, 1st time(8 months ago) he had tests and nothing was done, my gp said this was a disgrace and he could be going deaf due to all these infections. my peadiatrician made a 2nd appt with ENT 6 weeks ago refererd for grommits, my appt has been cancelled now! This volume of infections could cause my son to go deaf as your specialist have told me,yet nobody cares! apparantly its not classed as urgent! I am outraged you can treat a child in this way and possibly lead to him being deaf - you should be ashamed to treat children like this and possibly affect their hearing for the rest of his life. not to mention his development, his speech therapy is awaiting grommits as they believe the cause of his speech is due to the fact he can not hear! my child is majorly behind and your receptionists are absolutley shocking the way they speak to you! with the above mentioned i think they should be able to understand why i am so frustrated! i have been told to make a formal comnplaint if he does go deaf! what great service! i look forward to the management ringing me, if that even happens
"ENT - Shocking appointment service."
