I had a heart attack at 1310 hrs, about 2 weeks ago.
The ambulance left Walkley in Sheffield at 1320 hrs to take me to the northern general hospital. I was sat up in bed in the recovery ward talking to my friend who had come with me in the ambulance at 1435 hrs, which when you think is only 1hr and 25mins from heart attack to being repaired by having angiplasty and a stent put in my heart is absolutely amazing.
Anyone who says the national health system is not up to scratch has not had the experience and absolute care which i have so gratefully received.
