I broke my leg and ankle on 10th October and had my operation 9 pins and a plate the following week. My consultant was absolutely perfect from start to finish. I am a terrified patient having got away without having to deal with anything like this until I was 51, Every member of staff from A & E, to ward staff to theatre staff were wonderful. To my surprise I have been discharged today, I still need plenty of physio but can not thank the head of Orthopaedics and his team enough. I had planned a thank you card and a little token present, so I hope this can be passed onto him with my heartfelt thanks for making this very frightening time a good experience.
"Fantastic hospital."
