I cant even get an answer to find out when i might actually get an appt. I was referred approx 3 months ago. The opa answerphone message says only to stay on the line if you have an appt that week or call back another day. This has been the same message for several weeks. I tried phoning the consultants secretary and usually just got an answerphone message, ( the message i left was never returned) after several attempts I finally spoke to someone who just told me to call the opa dept! I am registered nurse myself (no longer working for this trust) and understand how the system works and if I find it frustrating It must be a nightmare for people trying to get through when they are frail and vulnerable. An appalling service.
