I was admitted to Aand E with a massive nose bleed. Due to overcrowding in AandE I was taken to Minor Injuries. I received excellent care ranging from a drip to replace lost fluid to help with cleaning myself up. I would particularly like to thank the senior nurse, who has recommended a change in my medication and given me a letter to take to my GP, and the nurse who helped with my general wellbeing. I would also like to thank the paramedic and the two ambulance men who attended to my needs before and during admission. Particular thanks to the paramedic who helped my disabled husband to clear up the mess (vomit and blood) at home after I had been taken away in the ambulance. My treatment in the minor Injuries unit was a vast improvement on that received in Aand E a few weeks ago when, admitted for the same reason, I was given no particular treatment (no drip) and was discharged with a very low blood pressure which persisted for the following two days.
