Suspect that the nursing staff here run an in house competition as to who can make the most noise. Crashing trolleys, slamming bin lids, listening to radios, faulty beds bleeping, shouting, arguing.......it never ends. Ah, I thought, it's to stop the poor patient from sleeping during the day so they sleep through the night. Wrong, the noise continues after lights out. Ward doors are left open so the frivolous activities of the nursing staff permeates the inner sanctum of the sick. Then just as one manages to nod off the blood pressure machine comes around. I'll never forget the sound of expanding velcro, warning buzzers and it's operator asking "can I just take your blood pressure love?" .
"Want to get well.......then avoid this place!"
