"A and Europe visit and meddoc"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

Yet again, I have been sent home within a week of visiting the A and E department with a heavy heart. I have been dismissed by the meddoc gp again and told to just keep taking the cocktail of medication for my pain. I was recently admitted to the hospital for suspected gall bladder disease and was seen by at least 5 different doctors, who, could not agree as to the cause of the pain. I was discharged with the assurance of a follow up outpatient procedure only to find out from my gp that the hospital had no intention of carrying out the procedure. I am left in pain and distressed and don't know where to turn.

I am sorry to hear your concerns. The hospital Trust doesn’t manage Medocc, that service is run by our community partners.
