Just to say a very big thank you to all the staff from reception to My surgeon. I was bitten by a (horse fly)...??? On my arm, which I thought I could treat myself. 6 days later my arm had swollen twice the size and had gone sceptic, poison lines were running up into my armpit and was very painful, and the infected area was a terriable mess. after having my arm looked at by no less than four doctors and told I would have to be admitted into hospital over night... panic panic (first time in 60 years since birth have I ever been told I would have to stay in hospital) I thought my arm was bad but not that bad, I was then seen by the surgeon who had an anti biotic drip placed in my arm and then very skilfully cleaned away the infected area and dressed it, I could see the concern in the other doctors eyes although they were very limited in their opinions, I am very sure that, he not only saved my arm (drastic thoughts maybe) but my life as well... thank you. when changing the dressings the gunge that was comming out of my arm was of a like I have never seen before, the pain was at times unbearable, but 5weeks later I have a 2inch scar and a normal working arm, I am sure that without our fantastic nurses and doctors with their extrordanary skills and their caring attitude our world would be a very different place"...thank you... is only a seven letter word but ,it's the only word I have to show my appreciation to you all"....xxxxxx Peter (wrinkleyninja) harding.
