"Problems making appointments"

On numerous occasions over the last 2 years I have had to change appointments that weren't convenient due to work commitments. My child has NEVER missed an appointment, but has had at least a dozen appointments cancelled by the clinic.

I have always found a certain receptionist attitude to be very unhelpful and condescending. A month since I received a letter for my child's appointment for next year, which was fine as it was a Monday afternoon, when I don't work. Today I have received ANOTHER letter changing this appointment to the week before, but on the Monday morning, when I do work!

I rang to rearrange this, and was spoken to by the same receptionist that we have had problems with before. Her manner is appalling and she was very unhelpful. I asked for an appointment in the school holidays of Christmas next year, to be told that there aren't any.

So basically the Dr we are seeing only works Monday mornings, every fortnight, but not at Christmas. We have now not got any appointment at all for my child.

All the Nurses, and Drs that we have seen in this department have all been very friendly and extremely helpful, but the receptionist unfortunately lets the service down.
