I move around a lot. In the last 4 years I've seen more than a dozen doctors/healthcare professionals but never the same one twice. I'm used to recounting my treatment details at every appointment and being told that I need yet another review.
It wasn't much of a problem until a depressive episode caused me to stop leaving the house, bathing, eating, etc. After 7 months or struggling and getting into worse and worse mental health I managed after much struggle to persuade myself to go back to the doctor.
I told him my medication didn't seem to be working anymore. That I'd had suicidal thoughts and was having a lot of trouble leaving the house or even speaking on the phone. I tried to explain how much pain and anxiety I had been through just making this appointment... I don't think he understood.
He printed out a prescription for the same medication I had been taking and told me he was sure I'd feel better soon.
I don't know what to do now.
