About: Worthing Hospital

A friend of mine had been admitted into majors so I wasn't actually seen myself. I would like to praise every single member of staff but the receptionists. Both receptionists were rude and sarcastic. I understand tensions are high in a&e but me and the other person who received unacceptable attitude were perfectly polite. If you don't like your job, don't take it out on people who are worried, vulnerable and confused. Apart from those two every single member of staff was polite and very kind. They were clearly rushed of their feet and they all kept a clear and focused head impeccably well.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this posting. We are pleased that your friend had such good experience of the clinical A/E staff but are very disappointed to hear about the attitudes you both encountered from the reception staff. We have forwarded your feedback to the A/E matron who will give direct feedback to the reception team. We expect all our staff to show kindness and respect to everyone that they meet and we do not accept such poor behaviour. Thank you once again for taking the time to give your feedback and we trust that your friend is now recovering well at home.
