I am new to this service in Sheffield and have found it quite easy and straightforward to get the help I needed - the referral was quick and I only had to wait a few days before I got my first script. I felt happy with being able to decide what dose I felt was right for me and that being respected by the doctor, as in the past it was usually the doctor who decides.

I feel that Guernsey house is clean, tidy and comfortable. All in all, I am happy with the service so far.

This is a reply to all the patients attending Guernsey House who have sent us their opinions of the service we are providing. We will be replying to specific individual responses but felt a general response was necessary to show that we are not ignoring the excellent feedback we have had so far.

There have been many good things said about the service as well as some specific areas that can be improved, but the overwhelming theme on the negative side has been the clinics running late, people having to wait beyond their appointment time to be seen and difficulty accessing the service when things go wrong. We have noted these complaints and are looking at ways of dealing with them. The solutions will be posted on the website for discussion.

Please keep the feedback coming and encourage other patients to participate this is a vital link in improving the service. Thank you to all of you that have responded

Thank you for your posting, it's really useful for us to hear what our service users feel about our service.

Involving service users in decisions about their treatment is important to us at Guernsey House and we are pleased that this was your experience.

Getting people into treatment quickly is a priority for us and we work hard alongside other agencies to make this happen. It is nice when this is recognised by our service users. We will share this feedback with all staff members
