"CQC Report does not fit my experience"

While I acknowledge that things should improve in some areas and that learning and improvement is dynamic, fluid and ongoing, my very recent experiences of the Hereford County Hospital have been better than my expectations. I have had cause to attend two appointments there over the past number of weeks attending two different departments and I would like to thank both teams individually for my positive experience. The doctor and Team- Women's Health, Gynecology. I was at an appointment that I had been very nervous about and had put off for some time previously. The nursing team were incredibly sensitive and helpful and I failed to get any of their names but my appointment was on the 16th October 2014- so if you read this, thank you! The doctor himself was very enabling, informative and understanding and during my procedure communicated the process very well. Afterwards, I was pleased to learn that he had completed a minor procedure that I had had agreed to but had not expected from the doctor himself but which I would probably not have followed up with my own GP due to my worry over the pain associated with this particular process..... I was delighted that all had been done in one appointment. My aftercare was outlined for me and I was given a follow up appointment and appropriate literature. For the whole of the process, I was comfortable and reassured by all of this particular team.... thank you again! The second appointment was with a doctor at the Biliary Surgery department. I have an ongoing and until now undiagnosed issue which has been causing me some worry. The doctor was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He outlined what he thought my possible condition could be, possible treatments and the diagnostic methods that could be used to determine the exact nature of my problem. He was kind and reassuring and I felt that I received an excellent service from him. I would recommend him to others! I have no doubt that there are individuals who will state that this level of service cannot be generally assumed and applied to all of the hospital and it's teams but I would argue that I was incredibly happy with the service and treatment I received as I am sure many others would agree....
