"A recent stay"

I was bought into A + E by 2 very lovely paramedics (apologies for not getting names) who looked after me and put me at ease the whole time.

I was seen promptly there by a very lovely nurse who explained exactly what was going to happen as my GP had already informed them I was on my way.

I had a CT scan where the lady who did it was fantastic and I felt put at ease by her the whole time. I was then moved to MAU where despite being extremely busy and clearly under immense pressure provided me with impeccable care for the time I was there.

The doctors who looked after me were also brilliant. The 2 that did the lumber puncture were so understanding of my nerves and really were so lovely to me. I was then moved to ward 11 where the staff were truly incredible.

The staff couldn't do enough for me Eloise even sorted out a shower for me and made sure no one else went in it before I got there and cleaned it before she'd let me in!

Everyone took the time to speak to me! Despite how pressured you all are they really took the time to care not just for me but all the other patients and spent lots of time with the old ladies which I don't think you get anywhere else. Plus it was spotless and even the cleaners were lovely and spoke to everyone! Amy Reid deserves a special mention as her ward clearly runs perfectly.

The staff all spoke highly of her and everything was clean, tidy and very well organised and they all took the time to care. As well as Amy and Eloise, Sue, Kerry and Jade also deserve a mention. They were amazing with the elderly and even found the time just to sit and talk to them which I thought shows that they truly care about their patients. They really did all go above and beyond what was expected.
