I would like to thank the staff in the Emergency Department for the care and attention that they gave to my mother last week on the 2 occasions that she was brought in by ambulance.

My mother was brought in with problems with her heart on two seperate occasions and was treated with compassion and kindness throughout her stay with you and they ensured that she was treated quickly and efficiently during her stay and ensured that transport was arranged to get her home as soon as possible.

We are pleased to hear that your mother felt she was treated with compassion and kindness by our colleagues in the Emergency Department (ED) on her two recent visits to QMC. This feedback was originally posted in October 2014 via the Patient Opinion website. There is presently a technical problem with the NHS Choices website. This means a back log of comments are presently being pulled from the Patient Opinion website later than usual. We have escalated our concerns to the NHS Choices team, who have assured us that their team are working to resolve the problem. We responded to this post back in October 2014.
