I visited A&E early Tuesday morning (about 7.15am) as I had been getting chest pains which were very similar to a heart attack I suffered about 12 years ago. The staff were absolutely brilliant and I was immediately taken to a ward where an ECG was performed alongside a blood pressure test and a blood sample. At all times the staff were reassuring, calm and informative. I felt real confidence that if I was in trouble I was in the right place. After a little time while we were waiting for results I was given a chest x-ray and finally given the 'all clear' with the diagnosis (much to my relief) that I had a digestive problem which would probably turn out to be temporary. From walking in the door to back out was only about 3 hours and I was hugely relieved. The point of giving my feedback is that the staff in A&E deserve my heartfelt (no pun intended) thanks and appreciation for the rapid and professional way I received their care and attention. You are all fantastic. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Paul
