"Keep up the good work"

About: Birmingham and the Black Country Russells Hall Hospital / Accident and emergency Russells Hall Hospital / Cardiology

(as a relative),

I took my wife to Russells Hall Hospital on Sunday 21st September with a very worrying health problem. I've read many negative comments about this hospital, but I speak as I find and believe that praise is due.

The treatment and standard of care she received was excellent, and I would like to express my thanks to everyone in A&E, EAU, and ward C8 where she spent the night.

Since then she's had a couple of follow ups, one at the anti-coagulant clinic at Russell's Hall, and one at the Heart Clinic at The Three Villages Medical Practice. Both of these follow up appointments were punctual, very helpful, and most informative. I cannot fault them.

As a family we've always been very lucky health wise, but on the few occasions when we've needed to call on the NHS we've always had a positive experience.

So well done Russells Hall Hospital, and well done The Three Villages Medical Practice, keep up the good work.

Response from Russells Hall Hospital

Thank you, Ron, for taking the time to post your feedback about our hospital. We are delighted that your wife’s experience of the care she received was so positive and that the teams in EAU, A&E, ward C8 and the anti-coag clinic took such good care of her. It is always lovely to receive such positive comments and is a real boost for our staff who work so hard to provide the best possible care to our patients. We have passed your kind comments onto the teams involved in your wife’s care and would like to wish your wife all the very best with any on-going treatment she may have.
