"Friendly and caring."

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I was admitted earlier this year with Quinsy. It was the first time I had stayed in hospital and I am fairly young so felt a little anxious. They allowed my sister to stay with me while they settled me in late into the evening. The nurses and health care practitioners were very kind and caring and made me feel at ease. I was regularly kept up to date about my testament and felt confident in those treating me. I will be returning in the coming weeks to have my tonsils removed, something I was adamant I would never do as I was too scared. I now feel confident enough to do so, thanks to the staff who treated me. A fantastic ward: friendly, kind and extremely good at what they do.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are really pleased to learn that all the staff made you feel at ease during your admission, and that most importantly, you are now prepared to come in again for a further procedure without worry.
