"The whole hospital"

About: Charing Cross Hospital

When I first walked into the hospital it looked nice downstairs with a cafe and pharmacy and so fourth, but when I got to level 9 and went to respiratory ward I was horrified to see what the patients had. My grandad is admitted there and he has got no tv he can't walk by himself and I found it cold in the ward and no one gave him a extra blanket as he cant talk due to his condition. Even worse that the nurse looking after him said that they had been out all night drinking and hasn't slept, and is tired but had the nerve to go to work and look after my grandad. I wished the hospital would at least get professional staff in and at least have a tv per room as people like my grandad who can't walk who is also very unwell that if it is the last few days he has got then give him the comfort and happiness he deserves, not drunk or hungover nurses who don't care, who sat in the corner of the room looking at houses on the Internet and not paying attention to the patients. Even little things as the tablet crusher was dirty and hasn't been cleaned and the lid was left off. My grandad's arm was extremely swollen from iv in his arm and they haven't even looked at it. It was supposed to be changed on Sunday but I left at 3pm and he still had the same one in on Sunday. I am disgusted how the hospital has even been able to stay open. There was patients walking around who looked lost or confused and not one nurse assisted them they just laughed at them and walked past. I am disgusted to my bone and I have been to better medical centres in afghan than that hospital, I would walk out even if my arm was hanging off it is a joke. Stop spending on the downstairs and give more to patients in the bedrooms
