"Lack of service is terrible"

About: Southampton West / Cannon House

(as the patient),

During the summer, my GP, psychiatrist and care manager all left their positions. I was seeing my psych every two weeks since period of time with the hospital at home team last year. My care manager said she would make sure another care manager and a support worker were allocated - it's now October and I've heard nothing. Re the psych - I received an appointment to see an SHO - he hadn't read my notes and was asking me how he should help me...really? ! He promised an appointment for two weeks would be sent out.....2 months actually.

However, this appointment has now been cancelled and rescheduled for November. In the past two weeks, I've overdosed twice. I'm on a lot of quite heavy medication (lofepramine, quetiepine, pregablin, amisulpride and trazadone. ) My new GP is seeing me in the interim every 3 weeks but she is getting frustrated with the situation. I will now be seeking advice about lack of care. Phoning Cannon House is like a lottery on whether you get someone nice answering the phone. I can tell you for one that the last one I spoke to is extremely rude and triggered me severely. I will be in touch with my MP in the coming weeks. .
